Esta canción fue el tema principal del largometraje Titanic, el cual es una película romántica escrita, producida y dirigida por James Cameron en 1997 sobre el hundimiento del RMS Titanic. Está protagonizada por Leonardo DiCaprio y Kate Winslet como "Jack Dawson" y "Rose DeWitt Bukater" respectivamente, miembros de diferentes estratos sociales que se enamoran durante el fatídico viaje inaugural del barco en 1912.

PUCCA Y GARU - Pucca -

El personaje Pucca lo hizo Vooz Character System, una compañía Surcoreana. En el año 2000, apareció como imagen de un servicio de postales electrónico, pero debido a la gran aceptación se comenzaron a hacer 24 episodios de dos minutos y medio por segmento; posteriormente Fox Kids compró los derechos de Pucca, y junto a Vooz, se decidió agregar nuevos personajes y diálogos para ellos (excepto para Pucca y Garu). Actualmente esta serie se transmite por la cadena Jetix y ha crecido hasta convertirse en todo un éxito.

"SUNDAY MORNING" - Más Barato por Docena 2 -

La canción Sunday Morning del grupo Maroon 5, se desprende del Álbum "Songs About Jane" grabado en los Ángeles e inspirado en la relación de Adam Levine, el vocalista de la banda, con su ex-novia Jane, y sacado a la venta en de junio de 2002.
Este tema musical aparece al final de la película "Cheaper by the dozen 2" (Más barato por docena 2), la cual es un filme cómico de Estados Unidos estrenado en el 2005, que trata del regreso de la familia Baker, donde los padres ansían reunir a sus doce hijos y llevarlos al hermoso lago Winnetka, en Wisconsin, que ha sido donde siempre han pasado sus vacaciones. Pero su paz y tranquilidad se esfuman cuando aparecen los hipercompetitivos miembros de otra gran familia de la que Jimmy Murtaugh, viejo rival de Tom, es el líder.

"SEND ME ON MY WAY" - La Era de Hielo - Matilda -

Originalmente esta canción fue expuesta al público en 1995 por el grupo Roosted Root y pertenece entre otras, al repertorio de canciones de la película "La Era de Hielo".
La era de hielo o edad del hielo es una película de animación del 2002 dirigida por Chris Wedge y Carlos Saldanha. Se estrenó el 15 de marzo del 2002 siendo todo un éxito de taquilla; recaudó alrededor de 375 millones de dólares.
La película trata en resumidas cuentas de lo siguiente: Veinte mil años atrás, la Tierra es un mundo prehistórico maravilloso pero lleno de peligros. Para evitar una congelación realmente grave, las criaturas del planeta comienzan a emigrar hacia el sur. A excepción de un mamut llamado Manfred, que hace las cosas a su manera, y un oso perezoso llamado Sid, que disfruta de no hacer nada, o sea, que hace honor a su especie.
Cuando Sid adopta a Manfred para que sea su protector, el mamut hace todo lo posible por deshacerse de su improvisado compañero. "EVERY DAY" - High School Musical -

La canción "Every day" del disco High School Musical 2 se desprende de la segunda parte película con el mismo nombre, la cual se desarrolla unos meses después del primer filme. Comienza con el timbre de la escuela que anuncia las vacaciones.
Luego los chicos deciden ir a un club privado cuyos dueños son los padres de Sharpey Evans y su hermano para trabajar durante el verano. El conflicto de la película surge a la necesidad de Troy Bolton de conseguir una beca para estudiar en la Universidad, ya que sus padres no pueden soportar los costos. La oportunidad viene de la mano de Sharpey Evans y los contactos de sus padres. Es así como Troy comienza a alejarse de los "Wildcats" y de ahí en adelante todo se hace un nudo.

"HIT THE ROAD JACK" - Ray -

Ray Charles fue un gran cantante y pianista de soul, R&B y jazz nacido en Georgia en 1930 y ciego desde la infancia.
Su importancia fue tal, que hasta la fecha sus canciones son utilizadas para la ambientación de muchos filmes.
La película "Ray", es basada en la vida de Ray Charles, y por su puesto incluye las canciones que él mismo componía. Una de las que más me gustó fue "Hit the road Jack", canción que salió a la luz en 1961, pero aparece en varios álbumes como Genius hits the road, Georgia in my mind y Anthology, entre otros.
La canción es un diálogo entre Ray Charles y sus Raylettes (el coro femenino) liderado por Marjorie Hendricks. Precisamente esta última se encarga de rechazar con una contundente voz las súplicas de Ray. “No more, no more, no more” (no más, no más, no más). Y de remate le apuntilla diciéndole que como no tiene dinero, ya no le sirve.

En esta película actúan: Eminem (Marshall Mathers), Kim Basinger y Brittany Murphy; y se estrenó en noviembre de 2002.
El nombre del filme se refiere al hito de kilometraje desde el centro de la ciudad, dando a entender que los protagonistas pertenecen a los suburbios, a 8 millas (13 km) del centro de la ciudad.
